Proven technology

This dehumidifier is built on proven technology with a desiccant rotor. Dehumidifiers with desiccant rotors are well suited for all temperatures down to freezing. The drying capacity is approximately 3 liters per day. This is half the capacity of most other desiccant rotor dehumidifiers, making them suitable for use where you have a moderate moisture problem. The advantage of this compact size is that it takes up minimal space and uses little power.

Minimal power consumption

This dehumidifier can be used on low or high power. It uses only 200 Watts or 320 Watts. This is important at campsites and other places with limited electrical capacity. With today's electricity prices, many have wanted dehumidifiers with lower power consumption.

Compact size

Arida Stavern takes minimal space. As far as we know, this is the world's smallest dehumidifier of this type. The water tank is still a full 1.8 liters and is pulled out from the side of the dehumidifier.

Low noise level

Since this dehumidifier does not have a compressor, it is very quiet. The only sound you will hear is the fan noise. There are no vibrations. The noise level is measured at 33 dB on low power and 47 dB on high power.

Built-in safety

The dehumidifier has built-in safety for automatic shutdown, tip-over protection, and monitoring of internal temperature to prevent overheating.

Automatic restart after power failure

Since this is a small dehumidifier used at campsites and in basements where you may not be present all the time, it is good to know that this dehumidifier will automatically restart if the power goes out and returns. You won't have to travel there just to reset it.

Energy-saving features

Recently we have all learned how important low power consumption is. Arida Stavern has built-in power saving and will pause when the air humidity is correct. It uses power only when necessary (and no more than 320 or 200 Watts (high vs. low setting). Many campsites have limited electrical capacity. It's good to know that you can limit the power consumption of the dehumidifier to 200 watts or 320 watts.

For cold temperatures Arida Stavern uses desiccant rotor technology and therefore works excellently in cool rooms such as basements, garages, and caravans – year-round.
