Open windows and traditional extraction lead to very significant heat loss and increase the power consumption of the building's heating sources. This quiet room ventilator provides continuous ventilation with heat recovery, minimizing heat loss. When the fan is not running, the damper in the unit closes, preventing air from being drawn in from outside. This enables significant energy savings, as it prevents the heating system from running at maximum, as it would with ventilation by opening windows.

Radon, moisture, CO₂, and viruses must be removed from houses and homes, and the simplest and most natural method is ventilation. Arida 160RE provides effective and safe air exchange. Open windows and ordinary vents cause significant heat loss, and the influx of cold air increases heat consumption. Arida 160RE preserves the energy in your air!

Low noise level

What is special about this version is the placement of the fan. The fan is located in the middle of the air duct, behind the heat exchanger. This gives model 160RE a measured noise level as low as 5 dB (A) at a distance of 3 meters from the unit.

How large an area is covered?

Model 160RE has the capacity to replace the air in rooms up to 40 m².

In larger rooms, multiple units are installed. When multiple units are in the same room, there should be a minimum of 3 meters between units. It is possible to connect multiple units together in a master-slave configuration. See the user manual for how to do this. Possibility of series connection of up to 16 units of the same model. In series connection, all units are controlled by the first connected unit. Units in series are connected by cable.

Installation and use

The room ventilator draws air out of the room for 70 seconds. The heat from the air is then collected in a ceramic heat recovery unit. Then, air is drawn from the outside into the room for 70 seconds, and this air is then heated with the energy in the heat recovery unit. Arida 160RE has a heat exchanger that is 50% larger than other Arida models. Under optimal conditions between outdoor and indoor temperatures, heat recovery of up to 93% is achieved when operating at speed 2. This meets the requirements of the BR20 standard.

The installation of the unit is very simple. A hole in the exterior wall and a standard two-wire cable, and the unit is ready for use.

The unit can be installed in exterior walls with a thickness of 250-500mm. If you have thicker walls, it is possible to buy a 700 mm long air duct. The length of the pipe can be easily adjusted to the wall thickness during installation. Model 160RE cannot be used in wet rooms.

Remote control included

Model 160RE comes with a remote control with a display for selecting between the many functions. Turn on and off via the on/off button directly on the unit, the internal panel opens/closes after 40 seconds.

Maintenance

Heat exchanger and filters must be maintained after every 3000 operating hours, or every 3 months. The heat exchanger is vacuumed, the filters are washed or replaced. Air duct, cabinet, and propeller are wiped with a dry cloth.
