Humidifier and air purifier for offices, archives and large rooms
The Arida Wet 48 is built for spaces where an ordinary humidifier falls short. With a capacity of up to 2,500 ml per hour and an indicated coverage of 200 m², one unit keeps the humidity up in an entire open-plan office, an archive room or a shop. At the same time it draws the room air through a HEPA filter, so dust, pollen and fine particles are captured in the same pass. The result is air that is comfortable to breathe and gentle on paper, wood and electronics.

Why humidity and purification belong together
The heating season dries out indoor air, and dry air lets dust and particles stay airborne longer before they settle. At the same time, the mucous membranes in your nose and throat become less resilient when the air is dry. Adding moisture and removing particles in the same machine tackles the problem from both sides, and you avoid two units competing for floor space and sockets.
Recommended indoor relative humidity is 40 to 60 percent. Below 30 percent, most people notice it in their skin, eyes and airways.
Humidification is evaporative. Water evaporates from a filter mat, with no visible mist and none of the white mineral dust that ultrasonic humidifiers can leave on furniture. The HEPA filter sits behind the rear cover and is replaced without tools. The display shows PM2.5 continuously, so you see the effect of the purification as it happens.
Before you order
Place the machine on a flat, stable surface with at least 20 cm clearance to the wall at the air intake. Use cold water, and filtered water if the water where you live is hard. Essential oils and other additives must not go in the tank. Recommended ambient temperature is 10 to 40 °C, and the machine should not be used in rooms already above 80 percent RH.
Safe against legionella
The Arida Wet 48 is an evaporative humidifier: the water evaporates from a filter mat instead of being atomised into the air. No water droplets are released into the room, which is why evaporative humidifiers are not considered a legionella risk.
Maintenance and filters
Regular cleaning extends the service life. The evaporative filter and the HEPA filter are replaced as needed, normally once per season. Use original filters for this model, and never run the machine without a filter or with a clogged filter. This can damage internal components and is not covered by the warranty.
