Arida UnoKlima room ventilator with heat recovery

Get a better indoor climate in your bedroom and living room with mini ventilation from Arida. This electric room ventilator is suitable for one room and is very easy to install yourself. It replaces the air and recovers almost all the heat. This is an efficient, environmentally friendly and energy-saving way to ensure good ventilation. It can easily be mounted in an existing ventilation opening.

Are you struggling with heavy and stuffy indoor air? This is the solution for you.

Why ventilation with heat recovery?

Increased air circulation in combination with lower humidity reduces condensation on windows.

Mini ventilation with heat recovery is smart. The heat from the outgoing air is used to heat the incoming air, and up to 93% of the energy in the warm air is recovered. This gives you lower electricity bills than ventilating with an open window or ventilation vents in the wall or above the window.

Benefits of mini ventilation

Arida room ventilator offers several benefits:

  • Good alternative to ventilation systems
  • Energy-efficient ventilation
  • Less moisture
  • Good quality at a reasonable price

What size rooms can the unit be used in?

Arida UnoKlima 100 is suitable for rooms of approximately 20 m². If you have a larger area than this, we recommend Arida UnoKlima 160, which is suitable for 40 m². You can also use multiple units in each room.

Example: If you have a living room of 35 m2, you can either use two Arida UnoKlima 100 or one Arida UnoKlima 160.

How does it work?

Arida UnoKlima Base is a simple, 1-way ventilation unit that can exchange up to 30/60 m³ of air per hour (model 100/160). You place it in the hole for an existing vent and connect it to power via an open or concealed installation. The room ventilator consists of a ceramic heat exchanger that can recover up to 93% of the energy in the air it exchanges. Wondering how? Let us explain:
UnoKlima draws fresh air into the room for 70 seconds
  • Then the unit blows the air from the room out for 70 seconds
  • Before the air is sent out of the house, the heat exchanger extracts heat from the exhaust air and transfers it to the cold, fresh air
  • The air has now passed through the heat exchanger for filtration, and the temperature of the fresh air from outside is recovered by the heat from the air being blown out

Frequently asked questions

Can I install an Arida room ventilator myself?

Yes, it's easy to install this system yourself. Just remember that an electrician must connect the power. We recommend that you read the installation instructions, which you can find here, to see if this is an installation you feel comfortable with.

Can I use the UnoKlima room ventilator in the bathroom?

No, this type of mini ventilation is not approved for wet rooms and should only be used in bedrooms and other living areas.

Can I shorten the pipe?

Yes, you can shorten the pipe to fit your installation. The minimum length is 250 mm.

How can the Arida room ventilator retain heat (energy)?

The air from the room is blown out for 70 seconds. The outgoing air heats a ceramic element. After 70 seconds, the fan will reverse direction and draw fresh air into the room. The cold outside air will then be heated by the heat from the ceramic element. This way, you will retain heat and lose as little energy as possible. This is much more energy-efficient than air vents and gaps above windows.

Which room ventilator model is the quietest?

Arida UnoKlima Base 100 has the lowest sound level at 14 dB, while Arida UnoKlima Base 160 has the lowest sound level at 13 dB.

If the sound level is important, we recommend choosing Arida 160RE (Ø160 mm) or Arida 100RE (Ø100 mm). There will be less noise if you have a large system running slowly than a small system running hard. Arida 160RE has the lowest sound at 5 dB, while Arida 100RE has the lowest sound at 10 dB.

Will the Arida room ventilator remove radon?

Yes, this room ventilator will be able to reduce the amount of radon. NB: If you have more radon than recommended, you should have a professional look into the matter.

Will the room ventilator clean the air?

Yes, the air is cleaned in a G3 filter. You will also get a purifying effect by exchanging the indoor air. A G3 filter is a relatively coarse filter, so this room ventilator is not a full-fledged air purifier.

Will a room ventilator remove moisture?

Yes, room ventilators will often remove moisture. When it is colder outside than inside, ventilation will reduce indoor humidity. When it is warmer outside than inside, such a room ventilator can make it more humid indoors.

Can I use a remote control with the Arida UnoKlima room ventilator?

This version comes with a remote control, but you can only adjust the fan speed in two steps and turn the unit on and off.
