The best way to dry clothes is to hang them. Compared to a tumble dryer, you can dry clothes gently with a dehumidifier.
It also uses much less electricity.

Smart drying program for clothes drying
Press the smart laundry button once (the button with a T-shirt icon). This puts the dehumidifier into laundry drying mode. In this mode, the dehumidifier will by default work towards a relative humidity of 35% and high fan speed. The display will change to "35" for 5 seconds and then return to showing the current relative humidity.
The dehumidifier runs in smart laundry mode for 6 hours. After 6 hours, the dehumidifier switches off. Press the laundry button once and the display shows "SL". (Smart Laundry) Press the T-shirt button twice to see how much time is left on the timer. "06" means 6 hours, "05" means 5 hours and so on.
If the dehumidifier reaches a humidity of 32% RH before the 6 hours are up, the compressor will switch off to prevent the air from becoming too dry. The fan continues to run and the dehumidification indicator turns off. If the relative humidity increases to 38%, the compressor switches back on. The dehumidifier continues to do this until 6 hours have passed. Then your clothes are dry and you don't need to use electricity on a tumble dryer.
Smart laundry and night mode
Night mode can be set while the dehumidifier is in smart laundry drying by pressing the night mode/child lock button once. The fan speed is reduced to low, the buttons do not beep when pressed, and all lights on the display turn off (the night mode indicator turns off 3 seconds later than the rest of the display).
This, in turn, means that clothes are dried efficiently, without light and with a low noise level. Because the fan is on a low speed to make as little noise as possible, clothes will take a little longer to dry. However, they will presumably be dry when you wake up again.
